Information for runners

The 11.70 km Urban Trail of WB is a sporting race, with 85% taking place on roads. Some paths and sections are off-road. Over the 11.70 km course, there will be 160 meters of elevation gain.

A mass start for competitive runners will take place at 10:00 (a Fast Race bib is required to take part in this start). To avoid the crowd, it is also possible to start freely until 10:30.

The time displayed will be your real time.

Showers will be available in the sports center.

Before the start, only runners may drop off a sports bag at the “bag drop” stand. Please bring a bag that closes securely, as open bags or loose items will not be accepted. Your bag will be assigned a number, which will also be written on your bib. Without your bib, you will not be able to collect your bag!

The bag drop opens around 9:00 and closes at 13:30.
The bag drop service costs €1 (cash only).

The refreshment station is located halfway along the course, at the Watermael-Boitsfort town hall.

Water will be available in reusable cups, which must be thrown directly into the containers provided on site.

Oranges and waffles will also be available.

All participants are asked to respect the environment by not throwing anything along the route and by using the bins provided if necessary. It’s a matter of good manners, we’re counting on you!

Everyone will receive a medal after the race. Don’t forget to pick yours up!

Please remember that we do not send medals by post!

Yes, it will be possible to buy food and drinks from our partner, the Club du Stade.

Of course! Spectators are welcome, and entry is free so they can cheer you on and enjoy the on-site activities.

We have implemented a precise and reliable system to track your performance in real time.

One or two timing chips are attached to the back of your bib. Do not fold the chip(s), and make sure to wear your bib on top of your clothing, on your stomach or chest. The chips record your time when you pass the checkpoints.

Finish times can be followed live on the UltraTiming website. On the day of the event, results can be tracked live on https://www.ultratiming.live/en/resultats
